After acquiring the Merck biochemistry programme by the company DiaSys in 2003, many optimizing reagents for routine and specific diagnosis for manual use, large number of calibrators and controls as well as photometric systems and analyzers for glucose/lactates/hemoglobin have been added to the programme.
